Black Horse Forge is funded in part by your generous donations, however blacksmithing is expensive. To ensure we meet our financial obligations, we supplement donations with paid classes. All proceeds from our paid classes go directly back into funding our mission.
Open Forge – Every Wednesday
Open Forge is a place for Veterans, Active Duty and First Responders and Law Enforcement to come work on projects, learn new techniques, or just come to hang out! No experience necessary. No Sign Up Required
EDC Knife Class – July 11 and 12 2026
EDC Knife Class
Make your own everyday carry knife in this hands-on class at Black Horse Forge. In this two day course, you’ll shape, grind, and finish a practical blade, learning safe techniques step by step alongside fellow veterans, active-duty service members, first responders, and law enforcement.
This class is restricted to veterans, active duty, first responders and law enforcement.
Due to the limited number of seats, a refundable $20 deposit is required and will be refunded so long as you come to the class.
This is a two day class. You must attend both days to finish your knife.
